Jill Hennessy

She's a native Edmontonian with Irish, Italian and Swedish heritage, and also French, Ukrainian, French and Swedish. Jacqueline is the twin sister of her and an actor. Growing up, Jill became fluent in different languages such as Italian, French and Spanish. After she turned twelve years old, Jill became interested with acting. She started her career in acting in Toronto by appearing in David Cronenberg's Dead Ringers playing an escort alongside his twin sister. Later, she took improv classes with Second City under Deb Kimmet. After moving from New York, Claire signed an agreement for two years in Law & Order to be the Assistant District Attorney Claire Kincaid. Also, she was a part of films such as RoboCop 3 (1998), Ron Howard's The Paper (2000) and I Shot Andy Warhol 1996) in her three-year tenure. The next few years she landed gigs in many forgettable film however, in 1999 she was offered a leading role in the micro-series uremberg in a role with Alec Baldwin. Autumn in New York followed and so did Exit Wounds. In 2001, she was offered the role of the main character in the crime drama on NBC Crossing Jordan and in 2007 she received a Gracie Allen award as "Outstanding Female Lead in a Drama Series" due to her role in the series. Her husband was another actor Paolo Mastropietro in 2000. They have two children together. In 2007 she was inducted into the Canadian Walk of Fame. Jill Jill Jill Jill Jill
